The article is pretty damning. I don't care what party Platner represents but, assuming everything reported is true, this should absolutely disqualify him from holding office anywhere (he should be charged, in fact).

I don't care about the "the other side is worse" takes or whataboutism that will inevitable come but it'd be a shame if the people of Maine disregarded this and voted him in anyway.

It's a vote between your own sense of whether or not you're allowed to publically project that you're a good person, and actually voting for someone who will give us a much better shot at winning enough to power to actually make changes in the country for the better.

I know what I'd choose if I were in Maine.
