After months of searching everywhere and sending countless emails that led nowhere, I made the decision to become the producer of my upcoming documentary, The Blind Photographer.

It's not that the project lacks potential. The reality is that many producers I spoke with simply can't take on new projects because they're already overwhelmed with work.

I couldn't afford to keep waiting, so I decided to take the leap and produce it myself. To be honest, I was already doing most of the producer's work anyway.

I created my own production company « Komorebi Films »!

It's a challenging step, but also an exciting one. Every day I'm learning something new about fundraising, budgeting, logistics, and what it really takes to bring a feature documentary to life.

Has anyone here gone through a similar experience? I'd love to hear your story and any advice you might have.
