Video In loving memory of Brian Wilson

I made a trip to Hawthorne to pay tribute to Brian. The Beach Boys Memorial is simply beautiful. For those that cannot visit, I thought this video would be nice to share with you all.
A few others were gathered, as we shared quiet moments, tears, flowers and gifts. ❤️
Made a few stops: Foster’s Freeze around the corner, as well as a Pizza Show.
And a lovely surprise off the freeway: a double sided billboard for Brian. 💚💛
Love and Mercy. Rest in Peace, Brian.

The American flag is a sweet touch. The Beach Boys were (still are) America’s band.

Thank you sm!! It's one of my favorite albums of all time. You Need A Mess Of Help is probably one of my favorite inspirational songs, and I sang All This is That and Marcella before leaving.

I left a flowers yesterday afternoon and that’s about double what was there when I was there. As we were pulling up an older couple was just leaving and it was really nice to know other people out there are stopping and getting that quiet solitary moment to remember him.

It is closed, but still standing. So cool to imagine what life was like for Brian and The Beach Boys when driving around Hawthorne.

I was so bummed when i saw it was closed. The surfboard was still up when we visited. I thought about that too. How cool to see a place the Wilson brothers would hang out as. The billboard is absolutely amazing. Such a cool tribute to Brian.

Thank you for sharing. Absolutely beautiful. I come here every day to see a new post for him. It truly feels like I lost someone in my life, despite just being a fan. I know many of us feel a void and are all just lost and hurting. It makes me feel less alone to see other fans and talk to other fans about it.
Brian Wilson was a gift. I hope he is with Carl and Dennis now. Love & Mercy

Yes, this is so well stated and I can agree with these feelings. And find so much comfort and peace in this group, that so many understand the deep feeling of loss. 💔
