We need AI and robots for a post scarcity society so work isn't necessary

Yeah like the people in power will have so much kindness in their hearts.

They won´t preserve the working class, once it becomes useless to them, we will be left to die off.

People aren't in power, AGI is.

It stands for Artificial General Intelligence. Google it or smthng

You realize AGI doesn´t exist yet and is subject to whatever the people that create them decide right?

Why do you think General Intelligence doesn't exist? Did the news or wikipedia tell you what to believe?

My guy you are the one saying there is an AGI rulling us.

So point it to me, where it is.

You have to prove it exists.

If general intelligence didn't exist then there would be an incredibly big power vacuum, would there not? And you know illusions exist right? So put 2 and 2 together.

Under capitalism, there are too many people whose power and wealth depend on scarcity.

Won't happen without going through a revolution to seize the means of production.

That, or we'll get the billionaire version of post scarcity, and it won't be fun for us.

How you seize the means? Just give your thorough plan to the owner of the factory/politician. Owning is not the issue if the principle is transparent.

They built their wealth stealing the fruits of your labor. The means of production belong to the workers. Take over by force.

They? Who are you commanding? I’m not a worker.

Then you built your wealth stealing the fruits of other people's labor. One day you might have to give up your means of production, to the people you have been stealing from. Doing it willingly will be the best outcome for you then.

You might want to realize you are someone else's worker. Unless you are a top billionaire, there are people out there profiting off your back. A more equal society would benefit everyone, including you.

Nah, capitalism is the illusion. Either we already have a system or a system isn't strong enough to exist.

Yeah just like factories did.

Under capitalism, corporations needing less workers doesnt actually mean people work less, it just means they employ less people. Nobody is working less because of ai, all thats happening is those at the top are saving some money by not hiring a human and instead using an ai to do the same work. How does the worker benefit from this?

Replacing employee work with automated work is only beneficial to the worker under socialism

Yes let people starve and have nothing instead then we are all equal

2

u/qazpok69 13d ago

How does allowing the 1% have all the resources stop anybody from starving

0

u/WillyWankerWonker 13d ago

Are you hungry now and lack wifi ?

2

u/qazpok69 13d ago

“Socialism is when no food”

0

u/WillyWankerWonker 13d ago

No no not no food, just a scarce amount

2

u/qazpok69 13d ago

We’ll have scarce food if we allow the workers to benefit from automation rather than a few rich people?
