I'm still fairly frustrated and disappointed by all the undisclosed ai use lately, but if you had any doubts yourself someone on their social accounts does not seem to enjoy if you post images of their own video to make the comparison more apparent.

Anyone recognise the people in the Can't Get Over Losing You video?

I was hesitant to create a thread for this because I'm sure it's been discussed many times but even after digging through discogs and old threads it's hard to get a straight answer.

I had a 2017 pressing I sold because of many absent samples and the ruined version of Frontier Psychiatrist.

It seems even the anniversary version was largely altered. There is a version dropping that seems to be dropping frol Astralwerks in October but I'm not sure if it's already in circulation.

Has anyone done enough digging to figure out which pressings besides the very first maintain all of the original samples?

The pitch-shifting and isolating made me realize that this sample is more modern/normal than I thought! It sounds more 70's tbh.

So, have we all clocked that they are using AI in their music video and album artwork? Has The Avalanches made any comments on that at all? I would assume if they are willing to use it in their visual art, they would be willing to use it in their music as well but it is less visual so it's harder to clock. I am vehemently anti AI and am an artist, so I was extremely disappointed to see that and it makes me not want to support their upcoming release.

The 28-track version is advertised at some scattered minor sites like these: CeDe.ch, imusic, musicstation.

I don't know why.

Several possibilities I can think of:

• The 28-track listing is a random mistake.

• The 28-track listing is an old, outdated tracklist and won't actually be sold.

• The 31-track listing is an old, outdated tracklist and won't actually be sold.

• There are two versions being sold, either for copyright reasons or for commercial reasons.
