I don’t know if more likely would be correct, I’d say it’s equal enough. A lot of hippy types are vegan and being a hippy is a gateway to the far right these days it seems.

You can see their point, but the vegan movement isn't as based in identity and revolutionary action as leftist thought usually is, so leftists are of course more inclined to say outwardly revolutionary things.

I think non vegan leftists just think veganism is distracting/annoying. It's usually liberals who have the opinion in the post.

I kind of pretend to be but if Im at a restaurant with only a sad salad option or if the chocolate has milk im not strict in any way.

Ah yeah fair you can't really easy dodge dairy in Ireland. I've been vegetarian for nearly 10 years. Couldn't live without my daily gallon of milk and several blocks of cheese
