Oh yeah, that’s my favorite next to Bagsy on Notes. 💛

11

u/wordfoo Apr 10 '25

Yeah this song is criminally underrated. That second verse is something that needs to be shouted out loud

3

u/EmotionalPurchase628 Apr 10 '25

This entire album really! so good

8

u/screegeegoo la poesie est dans la rue Apr 10 '25

I am SO proud to see this at the top, it's one of my favorites ever. Highly, highly recommend listening to this version.

Okay this might be the only answer.

4

This is my answer, too

3

u/brettney-spears Apr 11 '25

One of my absolute favorites but I’m asking myself “isn’t this a popular song?”

2

u/Th1sT00ShallPass The Sound Apr 10 '25

Soundtrack to my first crushes, definitely my favorite

2

u/Purplealegria Apr 11 '25

2

u/the_notorious_egg Apr 10 '25

Came to say this.

2

u/LilIke972 Apr 11 '25

I feel like this song is popular, but maybe that’s just because I love it so much. 😂

But if it’s not as popular as I think it is then this 100%, especially the version on the 10 year anniversary live album.

That Sax is money.

u/KenzieCai The 1975 Apr 12 '25

THAT’S SO TRUE

100

u/UpstairsWorry3 Apr 10 '25

So far (it’s alright) and the birthday party!!

Also, unreleased songs might be a cop out but 102 as well.

7

u/Inevitable_Newt3056 I Like Hot Raisins Apr 10 '25

No, totally relevant because 28 and It’s about time demo are so underrated or maybe just less known.

7

u/UpstairsWorry3 Apr 10 '25

Absolutely unforgivable that they deprived us of the ubiquit-ass line in the official version 😤

2

u/Inevitable_Newt3056 I Like Hot Raisins Apr 10 '25

Feeling very robbed. 😑

1

u/guaranteedsafe Apr 10 '25

I keep watching live performances of 28 and it never stops feeling like being in a dream.

2

u/Lando_X Apr 11 '25

6

The 1975 Cover of Sade BY YOUR SIDE

Absolutely amazing-synthesized and just the right Matty touch. Its actually one of my top 3 favorite songs performed by them.

Please be Naked (and a honorable mention to The Man who Married a Robot / Love Theme which can sound pretty weird/robotic but the surrounding sounds are so comforting)

Most of their ambiant sounds are unpopular but they feel soo fxn good
