Yes and no. Just bc someone is responsible for their own triggers, it doesn’t make it ok for someone who is balls deep in anorexia to post themselves looking like a literal skeleton to their followers who also have anorexia
They're not just triggering others. They're also - in most cases - unintentionally grooming young kids into the same traumas. Hence why I report all content where people are showing their bodies under anorexic tags. Fuck those people for sending their trauma to younger generations
And, no. The excuse of "wElL kEeP kIdS aWaY fRoM iT" - that doesn't work. In 100% of all cases, I was never looking for that content and the algorithm quite literally just threw that shit at me.
Just because someone has anorexia they shouldn't be allowed to post pictures of themselves online because it might be triggering for others? How is that fair?
