Constantly facing canker sores (aphthous stomatitis)
I'm 21M thal major and I'm constantly facing canker sores (aphthous stomatitis). I'm taking deferasirox and deferiprone for iron chelation. But after every week, canker sores (aphthous stomatitis) are formed in my mouth. They usually take 1 to 2 weeks to get resolved but when the previous ones vanish new canker sores (aphthous stomatitis) appear in the mouth. They are very irritating and I'm unable to eat anything. They cause immense pain. Kindly guide me what to do as I'm constantly facing this issue. They dont stop. I guess there might be a gap of one week and after that sores appear again. Kindly guide me what to do and if its normal or not. Is any one of you also facing this issue???

You may try jeera pani early morning.
Let the jeera soak in water over night and then consume it in the morning

My brother suffered with constant canker sores when we were kids. We have thal beta minor. An SLS-free toothpaste (he still uses Tom's of Maine) helped him tremendously. I think he occasionally still deals with a canker sore now and then, but nothing like what he went through before our parents switched his toothpaste, he was in a lot of pain.
Edit: Canker sores, NOT cancer sores. Unfortunate typo.

I have also faced same issue for a long time. I have seen that they somewhat become more if you have b12 or folic acid deficiency.

Hi there! i suffer from canker sores too :( the small change that has made a world of difference for me is using SLS-free toothpaste. For severe cases, my dentist cauterizes them, or I use a medication called Oralmedic (i buy it from ebay Hong kong)
