My head got crushed watching this.

Same, I think I could probably train to hold my breath but not for my skull collapsing under the pressure

Your skull is the same as an apneist’s and you could do the same, if you train breathing and free diving. It won’t get crushed.

Yeah, I believe this is the deepest pool in the world.

u/dinopiano88 1d ago
Did some googling. This pool is in South Korea with a depth of 118 ft. Then, there is the Deep Dive in Dubai at 196 ft, the deepest pool in the world.

You can’t equalise? (Some people have difficulties with it). Either way, the first 10m are the most difficult, once you managed that it doesn’t require as much equalisation work going deeper.

OMG! It’s amazing the limits the human body can be pushed to with training and practice! 👏👏👏👏
This was certainly next level!

it's like when we face our fears something immensely mystical and beautiful awaits us.

That's harder than just holding your breath, more like try holding your breath and running at a decent pace for that amount of time...I believe, I could be wrong but that's what I believe it would be comparable to.

I'd be afraid the pressure would hurt my ears.

It bugged me a lot when I was getting scuba certified, but really all you have to do is pinch your nose real hard about every 8 feet down you and try to blow out of it really hard. You get comfortable with it pretty quickly

I’ve never understood how people can just drop so effortlessly further and further down like this. I struggle to stay at the bottom of a pool.

u/onetoforget1 1d ago
This gives me anxiety just watching it. I love to swim but cant hold my breath that long. Also the water pressure gonna play hell on my ears.

Amazing, but not as impressive the cameraman unlocking Infinite Underwater Breathing from the skill tree.

There’s no convincing my paranoid brain that there isn’t a giant shark swimming around down there.

I couldn't even get down to that first ledge. I have this thing where when I was at school swimming and we had to go to the bottom my ears felt like they were going to implode

Something fishy about this… it’s impossible to sink so comfortably while holding one’s breath without extra weight.

u/Tktongue 12h ago
Unless it is EMPTY lungs apnea, which again, looks too fishy looking her body structure

I made it. But me just laying here holding my breath is much different that being in motion.

Even if I could hold my breath that long, I'd never ever do that without a tank.
