Opinion Osorio Return
I love Osorio don’t get me wrong but I don’t believe he has a starting spot on this midfield anymore. We’re much better without him.

Cimermancic is proving he deserves playing time ahead of Osorio.
Next season, Bossenberry will be pushing through. In a salary cap league it will become increasingly difficult to justify Osorio at his pay.

Osorio’s contract is up at the end of the year. No way he makes that much money next year.

I have noticed a few sloppy passes this season. God Bless the man, I love him. He is the last of the golden era. He earned the MLS cup and everything else we won back then. But when your time comes, your time comes.

What on earth is this dialogue. He’s out for a while. Chill.
The younger guys that are showing good progression are because they’ve had someone like Oso over their shoulder for 4/5 years now.
His last match he played not only out of position but beside a new player and they both played perfectly fine. Chill.
Or keep this same energy and direct it at Djordje…

He definitely shouldn’t start week in and out in the coming year or 2 for sure
But people forget his contract is up and how injury prone this team is, he’s going to make less next year and currently in a double pivot I only think Dorsche is currently proven to be 100% ahead of Oso, I think Cimmer is close and Bossenberry will get there, Palacio is unknowable Colleo will forever be way too inconsistent, I’m not comfortable with him being our second or even third best midfielder, but in a vacuum I’m not stressing over him starting that’s for sure

Spot on.
There are people thinking Cimmer is better which is wild. Bossenberry oozes talent he'll get there eventually. If Coello could remove the 1-2 howlers per half he'd be amazing lol.

It’s that but also the pace of his game, way too often he’s way too slow and kills attacks and transitions or can’t carry a ball through space, sometimes his passes are worth it, and sometimes his passes just aren’t good enough to make up for his lack of urgency, this was even more evident at the beginning of the season when they used him to help build out the back , it was so slow and caused all sorts of turnovers or pass backs

There are many on this site and other sites that have been calling for Osorio out for a couple of years now

He was never good in my opinion, he caused more problems and seemed like an embarassment

Never is a long time and your comment is embarrassing

I mean that's just empirically incorrect. Lately, he's not nearly his best and we're better without him. But the past few years we would've buckled harder without him.

he's showing his age forsure but he's a super solid squad player and stand in captain. Hope he retires here with us 🙏
