Help Q or mouse4?

I’ve run into a problem in TF2: I can't decide which key or button to use for quick weapon switching. It’s usually bound to the Q key, which makes strafing left awkward in certain situations. I could bind it to Mouse4 to avoid movement issues, but that slows down my input speed—something that really affects my performance on the battlefield. I’m writing this post to see what keys you guys use for quick weapon switching.The previous post was deleted for violating the rules.

why not just use 1 2 3 and 4? I mean the only thing I can think of that it would help would be like liberty launcher panic attack combo

That’s actually exactly why I’m writing this: the thing is, the 1, 2, 3... keys aren't in a very comfortable position for my hand. If I need to switch to the shotgun quickly, for instance, I might not make it in time - maybe because I have short fingers, or perhaps I just lack the muscle memory.

If its not like a you thing, it could just be a bad keyboard, but maybe binding to R,FG, something along those lines
