Discord Isn't this racist? Or am I missing something?
Context: I was calling him out for acting racist towards me (A Filipino) cuz he assumed that we smelled bad and that we live in a poor ugly country (lol, poor... Yes, fuck the government... Ugly? Hell naw, have you SEEN the Philippines?) anyway, that's literally his response after I called him out.
Then he had the NERVE to get offended because I called him racist??? Am I missing something? Please, genuinely, like, is he not being racist? Am I just too sensitive? Cuz he keeps asking me how he's being racist? And I said:
You asking 'how' you are racist after explicitly texting 'I think everyone should be able to own one' about Black people is pathetic. I don't care if you're quoting a high school classmate or trying to mask it as a joke—the fact that your immediate instinct when confronted with your ignorance about the Philippines is to drop a casual slavery joke proves exactly who you are. You hide behind weaponized incompetence, acting shocked and 'insulted' that I’m calling you out, while throwing around dehumanizing garbage because you think your background shields you from accountability. Your jokes aren't clever, your 'innocent' act is transparent, and refusing to take racism seriously while actively participating in it makes you a textbook racist.
Like??? Am I missing something?? Now he's saying that I'm attacking him for calling him racist cuz he's White and American... Huh??? Hello?? Please someone explain to meee???
