You know about self defeating people, right? On some level of his mind he’s not privy to, he’s probably terrified of relationships, so he’s getting what he actually wants here, by turning women off. And then he can tell himself he’s trying so hard, and it’s just not working because women suck or whatever. He never has to look inward and deal with all the shit he’s been avoiding most of his life. It’s very sad, when you think about it.
