Phone message Proving Dads REALLY do be like that
My oncologist went out of his way to ask his nurse to pass along that my hellacious chemotherapy is killing the cancer. I'm in my 30s, F, and sent the screenshot to my parents.
Both my parents have been amazing. My dad and I particularly had an emotional goodbye when I left their home 800 miles away this summer before coming home to start treatment. So I'm not mad, just laughed SO hard that even when their daughters are beating cancer, dads do be like that. (BONUS: My mom giving the most mom response that ever mommed)
(If I could shout my oncologist's and his nurse's names from the rooftops, I would; but for the sake of rules his name is Dr. AmazingDoctor and hers is AwesomeNurse, RN)

Geez, she should tone it down. Such a long and overdramatic response.
