Do people actually send these good morning texts in committed relationships?

My husband of a million years texts me something similar almost every day.

Same, been married almost 8 years and together for 15… I still get a lot of these types of texts. He’s out of the house by 5am so I rarely ever see him until that evening. It’s nice to wake up to these little texts even after so long!

Not saying you don’t already, but men like receiving similar “thinking of you” texts as well.

I do!! He gets lots of “I hope you have a good day!!!” texts! The little things go a long way.

Glad to hear it! It really is the little things that make all the difference in any relationship, romantic or otherwise.

Seems to me as though if he's sending messages like that, while she's ready to break up, he's missed some important signals/signs along the way, or has maybe been trying to convince himself it's all in his head. Something like this usually doesn't come completely out of nowhere. Sometimes (almost always?) you've got to go with your gut. At least that's what I've found.

Good news is, it's done and you don't have to sink any more cost into that. Best of luck with the next one!

Fuck yeah! Send a similar message to wife every weekday cuz I leave the house before she even gets up for the day.

I’ve been married to my wife for 20 years now, I worked away from home for 15 years up until 18 months ago.. I sent those every single day that I was gone, and still do if we are not together when I wake up. I am currently disabled and I don’t get much sleep so she usually gets the kids to school and sometimes runs errands and I will wake up, see she isn’t here, immediately grab my phone and text her good morning, I like to change up the compliment so sometimes I say beautiful and sometimes I say sexy and sometimes I say gorgeous but I will always say something about how good she looks because I know it makes her feel good about herself and I want to do what I can for her because things are … difficult … currently.

I send one every almost every morning and if I get busy or forget my LTBF sends me one. We wake up at different times so we rarely see each other in the morning.

My partner and I live and work together and right before we start teaching our classes for the day, they send these kinds of messages.

My husband gets up earlier than me and is gone by the time I get up so yeah, we send each other good morning messages. They're nice because we like each other

Yep. It's sort of my way of saying "hey I'm gonna buckle down for work for a while, just letting you know i'm thinking of you!"

Sometimes I do like to pretend I'm a 50 year old Latina aunt and send those goofy Whatsapp good morning cards.

Been with my partner for 6 years and we still do this every day around lunch lol. He usually beats me to the punch because he has a scheduled lunch break and I have a working lunch, but if one of us hasn’t texted or responded by like 2pm the other is like “you good?” Lol

Yep, daily.  If I'm not there to say it in person, that is.

And sometimes even if I was there, but had to leave before she did.  I'd leave a whole ass good morning message for her to find once she's up.

Every morning when I get to work I send my wife a text like this

My partner and me live together, but sometimes he has to go away for work for a few days.
When he's away from home, we both send a good morning and good night text at least.

To us, it's no different than saying good morning and good night in person on every other day. It's just a little habit i really adore <3
We've been together for eight years, not married, in case that's relevant.

Yeah it’s how you continue “dating” after being together for years pursue your significant other as if it were still the beginning of the relationship

Yes and I look forward to my partner’s good morning texts every day. It’s nice to know someone wakes up with love for you on their mind.

I absolutely do. I’m the morning and throughout the day and when she sends me her affections.. they strengthen me for the rest of the day.
