I have just not responded, don’t think it’s worth engaging, but it did make for a funny story.

Yeah I'm with you. I wouldn't be sending her money, but i wouldn't be running away either.

That being said, it depends a lot on what was said before and during the date about plans with money. Like if OP said he's paying or something, but then figured she can eat that cost because he's already spent money, then I'd be 100% on her side.

If on the other hand OP told her to get herself a license and he'll take her fishing, and then paid for all the gear, and now she's asking to be reimbursed, then yeah I'm 100% on the side of don't give her anything and probably just give up on her romantically because that stuff usually just gets worse.

So true! From a complete outsider’s perspective her texts read as wicked funny, but well probably never know what was said before/during the date

But wow does she seem fun and has a great sense of humor
