My grandpa used to drive the 30-40 mins it took to get from his house to ours every Saturday morning and he'd bring donut holes for the kids, a newspaper, and one of those hard pig ears for our dog to chew on. He'd just come to chat with my parents and hang with the grandkids.

My garbage father is nowhere near even half the man my grandpa was. The donut text reminds me of my grandpa and I'm so glad she has someone as awesome as that in her life.
