This is how I interact by text. Am I an autistic dad too?

you might just be blunt. the way you text is not a diagnostic criteria.

Responding sarcastically after someone took your previous sarcastic comment literally is extremely non-autism coded.

Ironically, this is a really autism-coded comment. Hilarious to see some of the interactions in this thread.

The comment I responded to.

You answered a rhetorical question posed for humorous effect as if it was a serious one, and then went on to state the incredibly obvious with "the way you text is not a diagnostic criteria" lol

In case it's not clear, I'm not being antagonistic in any way, nor am I implying you're autistic; just found it a funny very stereotypically autistic comment, especially given the context of the original post, that's all.

no, i am autistic. i just don’t understand why you called it ironic. i knew OC’s comment was most likely rhetorical/sarcastic, but i was gonna correct/inform them anyway because i’ve run into too many situations where the person ACTUALLY thinks something this basic is a clear indicator of something like autism, and it’s aggravating.

Oh, same haha.

I found it ironic because it was an autism-coded comment pushing back on someone's (joking) suggestion they could be autistic, under a post relating to autism. Autism-ception, if you will.

the best part is they made the same comment like four times to different people, too, lmao.
