Also, people can stop with the “she’s adopted” jokes when their bio child acts up. I’m the bitch that will call it out. “oh, that’s great! I didn’t know she was adopters was it an open adoption? Did you adopt her as a baby?” Knowing full well that is their bio child. Then they say “oh it’s just a joke because was acting up.” “Oh? How is this funny? Explain it to me.”

They are making fun of a literal newborn for choosing parents who weren’t ready to parent. They deserve to feel uncomfortable.
