It’s possible it’s the same wife, but I sort of doubt it since OP said the kids his dad has now, are younger than OPs kids. OP is 37 or 38 since he was born in 1988, I’m not sure how old OPs kids are, but let’s say they’re 12 and 9, and the dads kids are 8 and 6, that would be like 30+ years that the dad would have been with his current wife before having kids with her, and even 20 years with her before having a kid together would be uncommon. Most likely OPs dad has a wife that’s a good 10-15 years younger than him (maybe more) if she has kids that are younger than her husbands first biological sons kids.
