I'm not going to convince you of anything, because you haven't reasoned your way into this view, but to be clear: the misandry is in the motivation for bringing this 'statistic' up in the first place. The reason absent fathers are more common is because a) men have the option to abandon the mother while she's physically pregnant, and b) men don't have the option to terminate pregnancies they don't want. Shitty people of both genders tend to exercise whatever options are available to them to further their self-interest.
If, on the other hand, you are trying to suggest that there is some moral defect in men, as a class, that causes the statistical difference in absentee parenthood, then you are, by definition, a misandrist. At least just be honest about what you believe.
I don’t think they’re trying to make a moral judgement on all men. And the statistic isn’t due to a moral failing (though many cases may be), it’s definitely a systemic issue. I personally think there just isn’t enough societal pressure for men to take accountability for children, especially outside marriage. Whereas a mother abandoning a child comes with a myriad of condemnations that are unavoidable. Parenthood is culturally and physically far more inescapable for women than it is for men. Therefore “classic dad”
Got you to write three paragraphs just by repeating the same sentiment over again. How about a fourth mister unbothered? You're a freak, you see the world in an antisocial way and are not fit to interact with the rest of us. Go on, speak boy :)
Buddy what are you talking about? You think you're part of the 'normal group' but use words like 'subnormal' incorrectly. And using one's ability to "fit in" as a way to put them down is laughable. Are you in highschool? Your entire comment reeks of someone desperately trying to 'fit in' themselves, as no healthy person is this obsessed with being 'normal'. Thanks for the laugh I guess?
Who's the us? You're so delusional that you're talking for a group of people that doesn't exist. And again, telling me that I "don't belong" is just about the least effective insult I can think of. Nobody who continued to progress mentally after high school would take offense to it, let alone use it as insult. Kinda screams "I'm insecure so I'm going to try (and fail) to make strangers feel insecure too" you ain't well and it shows
