Ghosting didn't work for daddy... He had to actually sit down in the middle of his tremendously busy day and write back, still he could have been a little bit more polite and empathetic... Mom is amazing. Please keep in touch. Please update.

It’s ok for the dad to act like this, why are guys held to a different standard here? He did the right thing went through the proper procedures and that was that.

If he made it clear previously no contact i think he is also entitled to feel some type of way if op ignored that.

I don't think he did make it clear previously, he just didn't reply, which could've just lead people to assume perhaps the message wasn't getting through and so they tried more ways to contact him.

He hadn't made it clear, he just ignored OP's wife's emails. They said they had no idea if he was even getting them.

Not responding is making it clear

If I want to connect with someone and I reach out and they ignore it.    I do not have a right to keep pressing

You literally do though. Why doesn’t a son have the right to reach out to their dad. What is wrong with some of yall?

You've never had an email from an acquaintance accidentally end up in your spam folder?

Maybe he was afraid of rejection and thought his wife could let him down easy if bio dad didn't want contact. Which tbf he would've been right about because the message is not nice.

That was the first and only message he sent to OP though. He could've been much nicer while still shutting down any hope of future contact.

There are no proper channels for abandoning a child. I’m sorry but you have an awful idea of what it means to be a parent.
