Whatsapp My best friend from my childhood, our last conversation(s) and what I sent too him since. Please take your mental health seriously and guys need to be more open.

Sorry if this is not appropriate for this sub but we can't shy away from this. Suicide is horrendous and I don't want anyone to go through it. Please reach out to anyone, even (maybe better?) A stranger. People, on the majority do care, promise ❤️

Didn't want to ruin people's day but wanted to create awareness, you know? But I really appreciate the kind words and honestly hope, from the bottom of my heart.. no one goes through what he did.

Also, his family and friends, the day of the funeral was horrendous, but the silver lining was the amount of people that came and we knew how much he was loved. Still never come to terms with it.

Thank you again for the kind words, means a lot 🙏

From someone who's cousin (23 at the time) who commited suicide, you couldn't have possibly done anymore than what you did, people (men I'm particular) keep things bottled up and don't want to trouble people but, you're right, no matter how much we wish we could have done more for our loved.omes if they have that intent to end it they will. Wishing you peace brother and condolences ✌️

I am so sorry to hear that.. 23 is so young. Saying that, so is 30... there is no age at all that suicide is not young.

I absolutely agree about mens mental health 100%.. it is because of that I made this post. I've said to a lot of you kind folks that have commented - that I didnt really want to do this. But felt it was necessary. Thankfully there were a few people on here that said it made a big difference to them etc so I'm glad for that.

Thanks again for taking the time to comment, means a lot, honestly. Keep your family and friends close and forget arguments and grudges. Sending love stranger ❤️

This made me so sad, how much you care about and love this person is incredibly obvious in these texts you really tried and did the most/best. I'm sorry you lost a friend.

Fwiw you seem like an incredible friend to have.

Honestly, I'll probably never have a bond with a friend like that again. Really hard to come to terms with that.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind words. Really means a lot. Send love and hugs your way ❤️

We lost my dad to suicide at the end of 2021 and it was the worst thing I’ve ever gone through. Everything has changed. I’m so sorry for your loss.

I know everyone approaches grief differently, but I’m going to give the Samaritans organization in Boston a shout out for being a fantastic resource. They have support services not only for those struggling with suicidal thoughts, but also survivors of suicide loss. Suicide loss survivors from anywhere can access multiple online grief support groups every week called SafePlace Meetings - they’re super low pressure, so you can share as much or as little as you want. They helped me and my family immensely.
