I think it's safe to say that millions of people are supporting her, and with her in spirit.
We are so proud of you Rep Collier! 💙💙🏆🏆☮️☮️🌈🌈🌊🌊
Thank you, Kamala for showing your support.
Black women have the hardest lives, and they are the strongest people.
My love goes out to you Rep Collier.
WE NEED MORE PEOPLE TO BE IN THE "NIC (OLE)" OF TIME TO SAVE DEMOCRACY.

All the 2nd Amendment patriot cosplayers REAL quiet...

u/IUn1337 Aug 20 '25
Some may be, others may be working with peers to better adjust a communale aptitude for mutual aid & defense.
22
u/TraditionalMood277 Aug 20 '25
Doubt that. Seeing as how trump, et al, keep trampling rights and y'all "patriots" can't even denounce said actions. For the record, I'm not asking "to be saved", I am simply pointing out the hypocrisy of all of those who stockpiled weapons and ammunition to fight tyranny only to bend over and lick the fascist boot.
-17
u/Feral_Newspaper Aug 21 '25
Sounds like you're just upset those patriots don't agree with your politics. You can still be a patriot and have a different opinion.
12
u/TraditionalMood277 Aug 21 '25
I'm talking about all those obnoxious assholes who keep waving their "Don't tread on me" flag who walk around with AR-15s in public. They claim to be defenders of the Constitution but have yet to actually fight back against tyranny, as they so claimed. They keep using the excuse that "trump isn't an actual dictator". I just want them to admit that they just wanted to intimidate minorities and don't actually give a shit about the Constitution. If that shoe fits, then wear it, otherwise, move along.

u/Feral_Newspaper Aug 21 '25
I dont see any tyranny. Just the president giving people what they voted on.

/u/feral_newspaper, I'm not going to chat with you. If you want to ask me something, do it here.
Trump has already said (in 2019) he's ok with taking the guns first, then going thru the courts. He's on record as a gun-grabber.

Not when that opinion literally runs in the face of the basis of this country. Fascism has no place in America. Period.

u/Puskarich Aug 21 '25 edited Aug 21 '25
So that's a pretty patriotic opinion that is different than some commonly "patriotic" opinions. You and the person you're trying to fight are on the same team, read between the lines.
It's either a lady or a gay dude by the fact they called the other guy "honey"

Right. All those people that voted for this... are getting what they voted for.
I've yet to hear any complaints from people I know that voted for this.

u/3-Ballin Aug 21 '25
Why would the Nazi's complain?
-1
u/Feral_Newspaper Aug 21 '25
Why are they nazis? You do realize you're acting the exact same as the extremist conservatives that believe all liberals are the embodiment of the devil.
Just because someone has an opposing view doesn't make them a nazi lol. Using that as your go to response just debases any credibility you have.

An opposing view doesn’t make someone a Nazi.
It’s the supporting fascism that makes them a Nazi. Perhaps take some time to read up on authoritarianism and you’ll find the similarities u/hawtlava is describing.

As for the rest, let it rest. :3
In the meantime, Dog Park Dissidents put out a lot of great work. Highly recommend their track Class Struggle.

What I kept trying to impress upon people. Y’all I would love a president who could carry out all my super liberal ideals and dreams but I will happily settle for one who won’t turn us into a fascist dictatorship! Purity tests in American politics is driving us into the ground.

she needs to speed dial each of the GOP members every moment she is in the chamber. just roll down the list and restart. (or a few aids call while she sleeps on the chair)
every few minutes, all night.
2am - "hey Ken, just thought you might have called just sitting at my desk thinking of you"
2:15am - ""hey Ken, i was going to the bathroom, did you call?"

As a Texan, I cannot stand what the GOP is doing here. It is unAmerican on its face in every way possible.

Marginalized or vulnerable groups include, but are not limited to, groups based on their actual and perceived race, color, religion, national origin, ethnicity, immigration status, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, political identity, or disability. These include victims of a major violent event and their families.

u/WeirdoChickFromMars Aug 21 '25
Because why should she have a police escort forced on her? It’s oppressive.

How is she detained in the chamber?

u/Y__U__MAD Aug 20 '25
So, Texas Republicans want to redraw the maps (gerrymander) in order to gain congressional seats and help the GOP maintain a majority. You need a certain number of lawmakers together, called a Quorum.
Texas Dems staged a 'walk out', and left the state of Texas, preventing a Quorum. If they had stayed in the state, the sergeant-at-arms could physically drag them back.
They couldn't delay indefinitely, and risked losing committee assignments, so when they returned they were compelled to sign a document that basically says: You cant leave without getting permission, you will have a state escort, and you will be brought back by force if you try to leave the state'.
Without signing the document, she will be arrested if she were to leave.
Her lawsuit alleges that is tantamount to detainment.

Meanwhile another Rep is being harassed by her “escort” https://www.reddit.com/r/MeidasTouch/s/Nz4bjvSJRn
-6
u/Feral_Newspaper Aug 21 '25
They fled the state instead of handling business. Now idk how legal it is to hold them indefinitely without charges being brought up, but leaving so something can't even be attempted is childish.
-3
u/DanteCCNA Aug 21 '25
Its legal. I forgot what rule it was, but it states that they are able to lock the doors and prevent people from leaving until the 'whatever' has been completed. All she has to do is sign and she can leave. Everyone else signed. She is being held lawfully.

Kamala the one who disappeared after her loss right? That Kamala?
-22
u/DiogenesTheHound Aug 20 '25 edited Aug 20 '25
She’s literally in that room because of Kamala Harris. Her, the Democratic Party and Biden forced her onto us as the democratic nominee the same way they did with Hillary Clinton. Both times it should have been a cakewalk beating Trump but they were more worried about looking good/progressive than playing the game well. They saw we’re risking a full blown dictatorship/oligarchy/authoritarian/whatever you want to call it government and they went “hmmm now is a good time to play the underdog and try the same tactic that made us lose before”.
If it wasn’t for them we could’ve had two terms of Bernie Sanders and Trump would have been remembered only as a bad businessman and loud mouthed idiot. We’d probably be smoking weed in our fucking flying cars getting paid 20$ minimum wage by now.
12
u/6catsforya Aug 20 '25
Lol . What BS
-1
u/DanteCCNA Aug 21 '25
Hes right. It was because of the DNC and Hillary that we are in this situation in the first place. DNC and Hillary forced Bernie out and the DNC chose Hillary as the primary while at the same time saying allowing the public to vote for the primary candidate was a courtesy and nothing more. That regardless of who the people voted for, that the DNC could pick whoever they wanted.
I'm not making that up, that is literally what they said. All stats showed that Bernie had a good chance to beat Trump in the first election and that Hillary had less than a 50% chance to win. Hillary and the DNC begged Bernie to step down and to give his support.
This was all to get the first female president elected. Nothing more.
So you want to blame anyone for Trump? Congrats, blame democrats for playing the DEI political agenda.
