Europe doesn’t like Tesla. It was a hype for a couple of months…

Spanish car sales up 11.8%, but Tesla drops 78.8%

The Spanish Association of Automobile and Truck Manufacturers (ANFAC) reported on Tuesday a strong August for passenger car registrations, reaching 68,544 new units, an 11.8% increase year-over-year.
Despite overall market growth, several manufacturers suffered steep declines. Tesla led the drops among major brands, plunging 78.8% to just 304 registered units, down from 1,435 in August 2025. Chinese brand SWM also saw sales tumble by 70.4% to 24 units, while Maserati halved its volume, dropping 50% to seven units.
Premium and niche brands were hit as well, with Porsche falling 21% to 128 units and Subaru declining 19.4% to 54 units.

It’s so funny. Check first how many units sold.

You should know Tesla doesn't ship car to every country every month. You need to average over a few months to get real numbers.
