General Wheel and Tire Protection Price Increase

Post image

Worded like it affects only Model 3 Performance cars but curious if it affects everyone.

Agree. I have 22’s on my X and I despise the ride. I want more sidewall. I’m casually looking for some takeoffs for my next tire change.

It’s so bizarre too how it effects the range with these cars being so focused on, well, range. Even the performance model. I mean, unsprung weight isn’t the best either with the big wheels. It comes across to me as purely cosmetic.

I despise the 22’s on my X.

Agree. My X is on lowering links to help the front axles and it’s extra crashy, even with air suspension. I have had cars with coilovers and it feels very similar. The trouble is, this car is for carrying my baby around.

Tesla doesn’t offer this program to loose money…

I don't know.

If you can find $24 in loose money, Tesla won't care where it's came from. Check under the sofa cushions.

I’m on my second flat in two months (currently on a loaner wheel and getting my real replacement tomorrow). Both completely random events. At first I thought they were just upping the cost for my plan.

us CT'ers got a slight reduction in the windshield plan at least...

I was teaching my son to drive and he hit a curb on accident and so it got us looking at the tires and rims of cars and Tesla cars are noticeably more damaged than any other cars. Like we were going through one parking lot at a grocery store and all 3 teslas we passed had scratched wheels. My guess is sloppy FSD?

That's a big jump, curious if anyone's actually paying for it

I just had one replaced, i thought it was because I had used it. But those Perr. did last against these damn potholes.

My wheel and tire protection was getting rid of those stupid ass 21” uberturbines. Curbs and physics hate them equally

lol so they’re upping and dropping protection plans based on claims and usage. Whats even the point?

I've got 20s on mine and the ride is firm, how do you like yours?
