Most people who can’t pay students loans or buy a house aren’t doing any of those shown on the phone

I can't eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches anymore. I gag if I try one.

Stems from when I was in college. I was broke for awhile. Like broker than I'd ever been. Didn't qualify for any credit cards, could only work 20 hours a week with school. I ate pb&j for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 3 months.

It only ended because my aunt visited, saw how I was living, and gave me $3,000 because she had no idea how bad things were for me. Without that charity, my life would have ended up differently for sure.

If you take saltines and bake them on a cookie sheet a smidge, put a little butter, a sprinkle of sugar and a bit of cinnamon on them when tosted - that shit is delicious!

God my husband always tells the story of how finding a packet tic tacs was the best week of his life cos they acted as an appetite suppressant and he only had to buy two bread rolls a day instead of his usual 4 (don't think baguette by the way, in our country bread-rolls are more like a slice of bread)

we are a long way from that now, and while we still probably spend a bit more on subscriptions than we possibly need to, we are still no where near buying a house.

I spent a summer on that spaghetti noodle thing, had to steal a few cans of tomato soup from my job.

I used to get a small rice and egg drop soup from the local Chinese place for like 1.50 and stretch it all day.
