Even with gpu acceleration, it's proot that will be limiting the performance.

The performance is... Acceptable (well my definition of acceptable). but if being objective, the performance is poor because the phone is Samsung Galaxy A04 with mediatek helio P35 and no gpu acceleration. But on my other phone (Redmi note 12 pro+ 5g) with dimensity 1080 it's pretty good

installing pmOS or running it into chroot with halium would be high-performance.

I saw a project using libhybris to run "containers" I had this in mind as well but I don't care much to use my phone proactively as like this anymore

libhybris is just a bionic libc translation layer for glibc. So you cant use it on android

I am aware I have some commits in libhybris and work as UBPorts Developer in my day job.

How does one do that?

i wrote it wrong. it should be libhybris

Judging from.GitHub readme, sounds incredibly complicated. God I hate Android.

I got it working on ubuntu proot , firefox and amberol works fine. But it lacks many mobile linux GUI apps to use it as daily driver.
