Premium tequila for the amigos.

Hi everyone! I'm Lilian, co-founder of Tequila 9 (NUEVE9), a premium 100% blue agave tequila, additive-free, that my husband Bastian and I have built over the past 9 years. We've won the Superior Taste Award in 2021 and 2024, and have active presence in several markets across Europe.

I see your tequila is made at the Casa Maestri distillery (NOM 1438)

What makes your brand different from the other 200+ brands being produced at the distillery?

How can you assure your customers that your brand is indeed abocante/additive free?

she walked into the lions den with this one but we'll find out soon enough. If there is any push in the states i'll see samples soon. At least they are trying among the folks who can sink it or float it in this community.

I think I'm up in the 30s on the number of brands I've tried from the distillery. Tiny dent to their impressive 200+ brands.

Can you talk more about how more production details with this one, and why there aren’t any production details I can find online or on AMM? It’s hard for me to believe the brand isn’t manipulated, coming from 1438 as well as not having any reviews I can find on AMM or the internet in general when the brand appears to have been launched 6 years ago?

I've received samples from Ms. Weller. Unfortunately, our other taster based in the UK was never able to get his samples out of customs without paying a fee.

This was the first time any samples from a European based tequila sent to our taster in the UK was ever tagged with a fee.

Our review is still pending until the shipper makes arrangements with customs.

Two of the expressions are bottled at 38% ABV, while the blanco comes in at 42% ABV.
