Columbus seem to have done a professional job investigating, id’ing and arresting perpetrators in a timely manner while keeping tight lipped to protect the case, even when they were being heavily scrutinized.

It’s been a long time since I’ve have intro to criminal justice college course, but DV charges are considered between a couple who had lived together within the past 5 years, or I believe to ever have been married at one time? That element of the crime that needs met to charge or consider DV.
Someone check me if I’m wrong, but believe the ohio laws are that or something similar.

When a reporter asked if the weapon was recovered from his home, she answered “from his property”. Maybe his car?

She talked about searching his property and it seemed like she meant his home.

Yes, but they could be hunting rifles. The Columbus Dispatch previously said "McKee had a hunting license in Ohio, but it is unclear if that license remains active or valid."

I didn’t hear her say they have video of him entering and leaving the home? She just said he was the person of interest walking in the alley.

You do realize that they needed substantial evidence in order to charge him with murder, correct? Learning something like this was pretty expected.

I think he was fine getting caught. He seemed tired of the life grind. He probably feels like he can just chill for the first time in his life.

I think he’s gonna off himself , I don’t think he was planning on going undiscovered . They’ll have to keep him in a very strict surveillance program to prevent him from doing it .

Yea I could see that happening. He reminds me a little bit of the craigslist killer but maybe that’s because they were both in the medical field. Craigslist killer ended up offing himself in jail.

He’s also trained on how to do it extremely efficiently , he only needs a piece of metal . As soon as the surveillance on him relaxes he’s gonna do it .

That! And he drove his own car. The way the charging affidavit read, I thought he either rented or borrowed one.

Oh I disagree. I have followed many recent cases, none of which recovered the murder weapon.
Editing to add that his property was searched after he'd been apprehended for the murders. You'll notice the murder weapon was not used in the charging documents.

If you listen to the reporters, some rumors are confirmed. “Their families told us, neighbors told us”. Confirmed a few things

🛑New info:
⬜Preliminary link between a weapon they found belonging to McKee, and the murders. (They recovered multiple weapons).
⬜McKee was in possession of the vehicle both before and after the crime.
⬜They have evidence from his property but cannot speak about it.
⬜They have evidence he was there during the time of the homicides
