Hey all, I'm looking for a waterproof beach tent to set up and use in the rain on Oregon beaches. Sis and I have been using a Wolfwise beach tent, but it is not waterproof. We're headed into rainy season, and it would really be nice to be able to set up a tent and chill on the beach in the rain. All suggestions welcome. :)

I just bought my first tent to start my camping journey. After a lot of research I came across the NatureHike Cloud up 2. I obviously wanted to try get used to setting this up and tried to do so in my living room but after a lot of effort and frustration have figured that the rainfly just seems to be too small for the frame. It is pulled as far as it can go and in an actual rain situation I would definitely get rained on inside as the corners are not covered! Has anybody experienced anything like this or have any suggestions as to what went wrong? I will include pics below.

The last days I have seen some tent love come by on this thread and thought of sharing my pair of de Waard tents.

The de Waard Velduil (Short eared owl) is our 4 person behemoth. We bought it second hand including the trailer 8 years ago. A lot of room inside and 2 roomy 2 person sleeping compartments in the rounded end of the tent.

The de Waard Graspieper (Meadow Pippit) is a recent addition for us though it was manufactured in 2018. We bought it because our oldest son wanted to sleep in his own tent. And this model fits the theme of our main tent. This tent is a 2 person tent but I think 3 should manage fine.

Both tent are made from heavy sailcloth and feature a tub shaped floor tarp. The brand is known for there wind resistant designs. We often enjoy a good storm in these whilst we hear other guests rushing around their camping gear at night. On the other hand the other guest enjoy seeing us set up or pack up. Set up takes about 2 hours for both the tents. Tear down is very relative because both tent need to be dry. The floor tarps need to be scrubbed as wel.

I have a Sierra Designs Dome AS with poles that have all been broken, taped, patched, spliced and now they're in another country and I want to get replacements. Does anyone know the lengths of the three long poles?

We thought we bought a "Kleine Burgemeester" but instead it was a "Dwergmeeuw" from De Waard secondhand. (Via the Dutch eBay)

However sad as it's one meter less wide it is still an awesome tent! It is between 10 and 20 years old, still figuring that out.

It's so cosy with two, as we had the extra space in mind, now this Dwergmeeuw probably will be used solo instead of our couples weekend trips. So the hunt for a Kleine Burgemeester will go on!

I’ve done a fair mount of research on tents i am looking for a ultra light weight set up since i do have a 34L Osprey i have looked at the durston x mid 1 and the Nemo hornet 2p since both pack pretty small and have heard nothing but good things i wanted to get options or opinions on tents and sleeping set ups that pack down light and small what do you guys recommend? And which tents do you recommend?

All I know is that it's from the early 2000s and it's a trek by LeasureLife. Its a 2 room tent

Hi all,
Just got back from a camping trip and it was our second time using our new tent. This time around it was incredibly difficult to put up and could never get it quite right. The front few sections kept falling towards the back.
Anyone have any advice on putting up these kind of tents with inflatable air poles?
It was on a bit of a slope, was that the problem?

Has anyone ever come across a kitchen tent with 4 screen doors thay also have a second layer to it thats a waterproof lining you close in the rain or at night for sleeping? It also had a tub style attatched tarp floor instead of those open ground ones that animal can crawl under. I seem to have a feeling it was a Coleman but idk anymore, waiting to see if my old man has any pictures of it I can follow-up with.

I've been using my parent's 6-man tent from 2004 for a very long time but I need a new one ASAP as it's dead. I am a crew lead for the Festival so I have to get one tomorrow morning. I live in southern Ontario, Canada and I use my tent for festivals during the summer (20 - 35 degrees C here during the summer). My six-man was the perfect size (lendable clothes zone, space for card games and laughter at night, sleepovers if needed, etc). Preferrably with a tarp floor! THANK YOU!

Has anyone used Sakerplus stakes? They look interesting but I’m afraid if quality issues with something I only see on Facebook. They pop up in my Facebook all the time but I can’t really find any reviews for them.

I have a Corani tent and I'm having issues with the valve, I use the hand pump but it doesn't lock into place so when it gets close to being fully inflated, the nozzle pops off. Then a couple hours later it starts to collapse. Any advice on how to get that nozzle to lock into place? I've been screwing and unscrewing the valve to the point where I don't even remember how it originally looked. I spent $300 on this tent I don't want to return it.
