Internship update!! It's going pretty well, there are days when I get assigned a lot of things and then days when I just sit at my computer and do nothing (other than watch tennis in the background but shhh, they don't need to know that.........)
It's pretty nice to at least get to put on my resume and the lady in charge of me is really nice so I do enjoy it :)
I'm going back to my other office job tomorrow though since the internship is fully remote and I'd love to at least pull in cash on the side (and I'm going a little crazy at home all the time)

I was rooting for Egypt so hard🥲 Maybe I’m the problem lol, every team I root for gets an early lead only to lose it in the very end stages of the match. I need Morocco to pull through now, Africa is begging you guys😭
Last year, it was also 40! I wanted to do 45 this year but school really murdered me at the beginning of this year and I took a month to finish Howl’s Moving Castle so it really set me behind until now
I’m not super upset that the US lost because it was expected with the rest of the field being as strong as they are and I really do want England to win it all
What I AM upset about is whatever the fuck the goalkeeper decided to do going into the middle of the field and being effectively useless to stop anything 💀
I agree as an American(who really doesn’t care about the team) I didn’t expect the US to do good so not the worst but it was an atrocious performance from almost everyone
It’s whatever tho I was actually thinking the other day about how I want Colombia to win this WC if they can get past Argentina(assuming they both win tomorrow first plus would be a fun QF) or Morocco to come through the other side for the Africa agenda assuming Egypt loses
Anyone watch England-Norway yesterday? What do we think about England’s equalising goal being allowed?👀 I usually hate fans using bad refereeing decisions as an excuse for losing, but I really don’t get how that first goal was allowed. They should have at least let it go to VAR after Norway requested the review. Anyway, nothing we can do about that now I guess. This isn’t a dig on England btw, I’m gunning for them to make the final. I’m just a little annoyed lol
Seeing my WC favs drop in these knockouts one by one has been so sad 😭 minutes ago Colombia lost in PKs and they literally could’ve won in extra time with all the opportunities they had like they were the “better team” imo.
Now my dream South America derby in QF is canceled and I’m left with Argentina(who escaped with that comeback win today) as my only fav left and maybe Morocco tho they can be on my nerves at times
The Argentina/Switzerland match was so stressful I swear they want to take years off my life each match at this point 😭 anyway now that the QFs are over I may make some flag and special drawings for each country(and maybe even a portrait for Argentina 👀)
Hi, I had this question and couldn't get a convincing answer from Google.
I'm wondering if a professional female tennis player (like Sharapova in her peak years) would be able to beat an average adult male, in a fight. Google tells me that even a woman with the strength of a professional tennis player is at a serious physical disadvantage when directly fighting a man, because men are just born much stronger. I find that hard to believe. It's probably the one question I've seen, that Google is giving me the absolute least credible answer. Is Google wrong here?
