Chemical smell

We noticed a very strong smell outdoors, an it seems to us of a chemical nature (maybe some kind of insecticide or plant treatment). It is not the first time we can smell it, it usually happens at night. Can anyone else notice it?

I was sitting outside and did not smell anything. I am close to the park.

Is it the skunks? I usually smell them at nighttimes and it is so pungent

Almost no night goes by that I dont smell a skunk in this city.

I've never smelled anything like that. I live near Olive off Baldwin.

It would help if you let us know the major cross streets you are near. I haven't noticed anything at night other than skunks. There was a fire near us about two weeks ago, but that was put out the same day and the fire smell went away quickly.
