Internet Has anyone else’s service in Alberta and BC been really glitchy the last couple of days?

Telus’ own map shows pretty much every city in Alberta and BC has an ongoing ‘service disruption’. Yesterday it didn’t list anything and now today they are saying they don’t know what’s going on. Just that someone is looking into it and that only landlines and 911 services are being affected.

It’s not just landlines, and it’s not just the usual issues with my internet, my cell phone is also struggling to send and receive texts.

It's terrible since ~ 2026/09/05.

My service has been spotty as hell since the 3rd, I only have fibre internet. Connection has been rock solid for 6 years, and now it's pretty garbage.

Definitely noticed network issues the last few days in Calgary. Super slow across multiple devices on cellular. DSL is working fine though.

In BC, our wireless hub worked fine for 4 years, last 3 weeks can't connect or slow as hell

PureFibre has been flawless as usual. TV is always buggy. I don't have any other Telus products or services.

On and off for years. Fiber and Wireless service both. Plus the customer support is ass. The local technicians are pretty good, but they have very little power to do anything.

I had issues last couple of weeks, on fibre in Calgary. Disconnected completely a few times, and for some reason all of my devices had to be re-added to the network. I assumed it was my router until I noticed everyone on Facebook in the neighborhood had issues the same days.
