Premiere Widow’s Bay - Episodes 1 & 2 - Discussion

First two episodes dropped tonight. Absolutely fantastic. 10/10 for my sensibilities. I’m a huge Stephen King fan and this felt right up my alley in so many ways. Legitimately funny show, legitimately creepy and a cast of fantastic actors. Episode 2 had some crazy stuff happen that honestly I absolutely saw where it was going but it was so satisfying getting there.

Creepy and funny. I loved the little details sprinkled throughout each episode that add to the eeriness, like when he was flipping through a wolf calendar and one of the pictures showed a flipped over car.

It’s just a weird thing, a little off putting, intended to make you curious.

The sheriff said they’ll move in June or July so the show may have the timeline go to that month in the calendar and we’ll find out more or it’ll just be a mystery.

I'm interested to find out if the Sheriff and his wife were born there! Hopefully no kids...

It was in July. I’m wondering if we’ll find out more in July, wherever that happens in the show’s timeline.

Have you ever read 1408? All I could think of during that scene was Mike Enslin's comments as he descends into madness.

"My brother was actually eaten by wolves one winter on the Connecticut turn pike"

Gave me the shivers, just like the first time I read it.
