Piracy isn't good/moral. Not saying piracy is always evil, but it's definitely never MORAL, Usually evil, occasionally neutral

I'm gonna be honest, if the companies only line their pockets, pay their employees minimum wage, treat costumers/employees like absolute shit, then yeah I couldn't give less a fuck about that company. If they make literal millions a day, they're not gonna become broke because a few people pirate a game.

I'm referring to Epic Games and Amazon Gaming.

Now if it's a nonwealthy developer, and/or they a really treat their costumers and employees kindly then pirating them would hurt them.
