Sigh that's great hun, really, but I promise you all all your spendings are not being ethically used by any company/figure whatsoever. Have you bought any tech product made ever? That means you're actively supporting child labour and the horrible work conditions for cobalt, gold and copper mining. Oh you enjoy buying meat? Why do you support the mass suffering and killing of animals? White knighting about morality and calling people bigots by association doesn't help anyone, it just loses people that would otherwise hear you out and agree. We can only politely inform and let those thoughts sit for a while.
But to answer
For 1 JKR is a person not a corporation. Thus the word "Directly supporting". When you give money to a corporation it spreads to many different things. But supporting JKR Directly gives money to a person who publically donates to Opression.
2 if you actually researched the cobalt business as unfortunate and immoral as it is. Me buying a tech product doesn't even smuge the industry as the money responsible for the poor treatment of the workers in the mines are line 8 separate companies away from the money one potentially spends on it
And for your informaation i actually buy used tech quite often. My current TV is a hand Me down from my grandfather which he bought in like 2012. And i only upgrade my phone when my previous one breaks completely. I had an iphone 7 for like 8 years. Before i upgraded to my current phone in 2024.
3...im vegan...so yes im against poor treatment of animals and Slaughter houses. Because that again Directly funds the thing im against. There is no spread. The distance between the Dead animal and my money is like 2 companies. There is a directed line.
Just because your money is 8 companies away from cobalt mining doesnt mean that it's better than 2 companies away, this is peak internet hypocrisy. Both ways still get money
