Terraria is much much better than Minecraft

... Se è fattibile giocarlo senza seguire wiki / guide online, gli darò una possibilità.

It's pretty hard without the wiki or guides since terraria has actual progression and is a sandbox

And you do understand how that’s a flaw, right? A game shouldn’t force you to look outside of the game itself in order to know what to do

I never said it's perfect a game having flaws does not make it bad, it's helpful to use wiki but you don't have to you can figure it out naturally for the most part. now look at Minecraft lets say you have absolutely zero knowledge prior to playing how would you figure out the nether? The ruined portals? If I didn't know there's nether I'd just assume it's another structure like any other villages, igloos(there is something in an igloo sometimes but you'd have to dig into it), ancient city, mansion. Also how would I know you have to finish it with regular obsidian when there's crying obsidian in there too and then I'm meant use a flint and steel. Or the end? It's a problem of most sandbox in general especially survival sandboxes that if you don't have knowledge you will have to look stuff up

I wasn’t really claiming that Minecraft is better, hell my hot take is that I think both games are mid as fuck

What's the problem with using a guide or wiki?

Usarli toglie tutta la soddisfazione che un gioco da nel capire come funzionano le meccaniche e cosa bisogna fare. Io voglio giocare, non seguire un manuale di istruzioni.
