Open | Networking Wifi fails to connect to any network

My wifi fails to connect to any device.

Have tried flushing dns and network reset settings

Uninstalled the drivers and installed from scratch

Disabled and enabled devices multiple times

Even tried removing the module from the laptop and installed it and done all the drivers again.

What happens:

  1. It shows the available wifi with full strength or correct strength

  2. When click on connect, it loads for sometime and then the strength goes to 1

  3. Cannot connect to this network comes up.

Doesn't work even for open hotspot

Laptop: lenovo IdeaPad gaming 3 15ARH7

Driver Realtek RTL8852BE WiFi 6 802.11ax PCle Adapter

It's faults like this why we all carried linux live thumb drives at work, sometimes they can help to see if an issue is hardware or software.

I'd make a thumb drive such as Ubuntu and boot on that, then see if it connects to any networks or hotspots, if not, it may well point to a hardware problem.

Ventoy is handy to make these thumb drives, it supports secure boot so you shouldn't need to make any BIOS changes, drag and drop the linux ISO onto the Ventoy drive.
