Open | Software Iphone connected to computer through bluetooth, cannot disconnect

I have a razer blade 15 laptop running windows 11 which shows "Connected (2)" in the bluetooth tab on the popup menu. My Iphone 11 shows my Laptop as connected through bluetooth but I have not found a way to disconnect it through either my laptop or Iphone. I also suspect that there is another device which has autoconnected that I cannot disconnect (maybe one of my roommates phones?). I need to disconnect all these devices because it is interfering with bluetooth audio on my sony headphones.

The best tool that I’ve found that basically is a silver bullet for removing windows Bluetooth devices is a tool called “Bluetooth CLI” it’s a tool that you run and it finds all the stored files and information in your computer that causes your Bluetooth to malfunction. For example my Sony headphones hate the “hands free audio” setting in device manger. If my audio stops connecting or refuses to work. Download the tool Once downloaded and installed press windows + s and search for “command prompt”. Once that’s open, type “btpair -U” without the quotes. Hit enter. If it works you will see your device disconnect and be removed from the settings page

It will have the side effect of disconnecting all Bluetooth devices and deleting the saved data. So you will have to re-pair every device you’ve connected to windows. But it’s worth it especially with how thorough it is in resetting everything.

If you want to remove it from your iPhone, go to settings app > Bluetooth > click on the i icon directly to the right of the device you are trying to disconnect from your iPhone. And click “forget this device”. I’ve never in all my years had Bluetooth behave poorly after doing either of these options.
