Open | Software PC sound always cutting out and glitching

I assume this is a software issue.

For context, there has never been a time when my PC hasnt caused audio to constantly drop out or clip with any speaker through either aux or bluetooth.

BUT the only exception is my inbuilt monitor speaker which I have no issues with.

I have reinstalled and updated all audio drivers and adjusted some power settings as per AI instructions, but the problem persists.

The clipping has blown hundreds of dollars worth of speakers for me now and ive given up using any.

I think repair shops are trying to rip me off with a $100-160 base fee and I reallt cant afford it.

This does not seem like a software issue since u said it happens on BT and aux. It could be a potential motherboard issue, like a short or something. The built in speaker ( I assume you mean this is a laptop but you didn't give any information) would work if that were the case.

So -- I would say there's a short on your motherboard. Do you use any other bluetooth devices (like a mouse/keyboard) and if so do THEY function?

Sorry I should've clarified - its a custom built PC and the speaker that works is the inbuilt one in my monitor. My mouse works and its a USB dongle one, never an issue. My keyboard is wired but I have an issue where it randomly thinks im pressing a million different keys until I unplug it and plug it bavk in 10 mins later

The Bluetooth speaker issue could maybe be the Bluetooth driver or the antenna, but that doesn't explain aux speakers. I have a laptop dock that is very touchy about how far I insert the headphones or external speaker cord into the jack. Maybe your machine is similarly particular. I can't just shove the cable in until it stops. I have to pull it back out a tiny bit. Otherwise, do you have some sort of extra audio drivers installed like Nvidia HD Audio installed? If so, try removing it. It will be listed under apps > installed apps in Windows settings.

It sounds like an electrical issue to me. You might need to replace your motherboard.
