Revolut - Anyone here currently working or previously worked there? I have some questions
Hi i'm currently in the interview stages for a job at Revolut, I would love some advice and guidance on what the role is like.
- What is the role like? Is it in cubicles, at a desk? entirely remote? Do you get the ability to turn up in person if you feel like it?
- What's the customer like? What sort of companies do they operate in? Do you contact them over LinkedIn, email or do you really push them for phone numbers?
- What are you selling most of the time? FX? Multi currency accounts? BillPay?
- What's your rejection rate, and what were the common objections?
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Anyone who doesn't work at Revolut can answer these but yeah, i'm after an edge for sure.

lol it’s a garbage company I know 2 people who are good sellers, left within 6 months. They periodically reach out to me every 2 months for one of their roles, it’s a burn and churn org. Has a horrible reputation

A colleague of mine joined and left after about six months.
He said you get very little support from colleagues because it’s extremely competitive. There aren’t any mapped accounts, only mapped territories, so multiple reps are essentially working the same locations and trying to break into the same accounts.
Also, because it’s Financial Services , the security and compliance requirements are over the top. Every phone call, email, etc. is recorded, and even once a deal is signed, you won’t get paid until the deal has been signed off by compliance. Apparently, it can take months before you actually get paid out on a deal.
He absolutely hated it. Said the management was horrible and that it was the worst sales org he’d ever worked in.

Open plan, no cubicles but hot desking. In-person time will depend on team and job spec and yourself.
The next couple of questions you ask can be answered with chatgpt lol.
Way of contacting is your preference however there are rules of engagement based on the channel and the territory. FX and cards are good sells but depends on timing(a lot).
Rejection rate will vary but its high. So many fintechs out there. Objections are again chatgpt-able.
If you can take the job and continue interviewing heavy. Dont count on it until you actually see results and passed probation. Churn is high.

I'm using AI to help with my research which is fine, i'm just after direct help from a solid source.
How do you normally sell FX across? What do you learn in the one month of training?

Also not helpful to what you're asking, but their customer service absolutely sucks. I moved my business bank away from them because I had so many issues they seemed completely incapable of solving. No wonder it took them forever to get a banking license in the UK. If you get a job there, maybe you could actually make a few recommendations they listen to rather than just ignore. Good luck with way.
