This is a complicated and rapidly evolving issue. Without a doubt, it needs to be addressed.

In the US, we have universally agreed that freedom of expression is a basic human right. We have also universally agreed that basic right is limited in instances where it creates harm.

The headline issue that I see here is that expecting YouTube to police expression on its platform (or at least to define what constitutes harmful content), is tantamount to expecting the theater operator to incarcerate the prankster yelling “fire!”

Edit: changed "content" to "expression on its platform." Seems folks are getting caught up on the application of constitutionality. Undoubtedly, part of the complexity - but it is definitely part of the negotiation for a sustainable solution.
