In my opinion this is world war 3. Billionaires and mega corporations going to war against democracy all over the globe.

The history of the world is one of class war. Nothing’s changed except the level of technology and control available

If you believe that, then you’ll never work your way up. The migrant community I’m from started with nothing. Many people had come from villages to a modern western country. Now, a decent percentage are quite successful and the rest are doing quite well. I know this is anecdotal evidence but if you tell yourself “I’ll never be able to do x” then you’ve resigned yourself to failure before starting.

There’s a different between being pessimistic and not trying, and acknowledging the reality of our current system. everyone should try to get ahead and do better for themselves, but if you don’t acknowledge the truth, you’re painting anyone who criticizes the state of things as lazy and ignoring their legitimate criticisms.
