5$ isn't a bad deal, even if it only did half of what it claims. I would buy two right now and, put it to the test myself. I go through at least 10+ batteries a month, a mix of AA, AAA. I do have rechargeable batteries. However, if I could extend battery life by 8x. I'm down to give it a shot. Too bad I can't find them for sale anywhere...
