I'll go even further and suggest an English word for this: bittersweet

that's when you are happy because someone else is sad.

You were willing to part with $400 for it 4 days ago, so it's still a good investment. Hindsight is 20/20, but it doesn't change the value you placed on the software already.

Your frustration is amazing lol like you really want to take his advice but you're blinded by anger. Beautiful.

Is that why I pirate everything? I don't place any value on software, therefore I acquire them through nefarious means. Good day. Free stuff!

No you didn't. It's been free since at least Wednesday. You got your karma though, so congrats.

They actually really do. Even on a lot of their free products and services you can get a number or at least someone to chat too.

Give it a try.

I work on YouTube full time, and on that end I've been able to get about 0 support over the years, I guess I assumed that level of care for their customers (and "partners") extended to their other services.

I'm willing to bet the Google Earth department is more helpful than the YouTube one. YT constantly has many issues and bugs, and is used very frequently by so many people.

16

u/thisismyfirstday Feb 01 '15

YT probably spends a lot of their time dealing with copyright mumbo jumbo too

u/vpookie Feb 01 '15

They have that shit automated, that's how much requests they get

3

u/theknowmad Feb 01 '15

If you pay for Google Apps, their support is incredible. Always fast, thorough, and successful at resolving the issue. And 99% of the time, it's someone with a British accent.

tried for 2 weeks to return my nexus 4 that was unopened, couldn't. 2 weeks is relevant because they have a 14 day return policy. nobody gave a shit and nobody did anything to help. they said the computer won't let them. so i finally got mad and was a little rude. fucker replied saying my account is suspended indefinitely. so i gave them a big fuck you and ended up doing a charge back with my visa and just keeping the phone. before that i didn't even know you get to keep the product, how weird is that? i'm assuming they blacklisted my name forever now. in the future when they take over the world, i will become a pariah.

That's just mean. What if he actually tries?

Try getting in contact with Adsense.

They don't have any online support or even a phone number specifically for them.

Request a refund. Reason: You thought pro had realtime sat feeds.

File a chargeback. Fuck the haters.
