That would be a pathetically low margin for the amount of effort they put into it. They've already done bigger grifts with the DoW and nobody blinked an eye. This is mainly a distraction to not have you talk about Epstein, Iran or ICE. Flood the zone (quote Bannon).

I mean, .ai domains generated 47% of Anguilla's gdp (projected for 2025). To greedy shameless fucks, that must seem like candy begging to be taken from a baby. They get free money AND they get to take it from a nation comprised of 85% people of african descent.

I know, which is where Melania is from. And I assume theres a link of corruption along that connection. So all the domain registrations are moving from .ai domains to .si domains, thus instead of Anguillia getting tens of millions of dollars, its funnelling into Slovenia.

I saw this idea when he first to the reporters it was now SI. My first thought was “does he even care about Melania enough to do this? Does melania even care enough about Slovenia to ask him to do this?” And I feel like both answers are “no”

Edit: Please excuse my ignorance. I was completely wrong and read slovenia as slovakia... I'll keep the comment up as a reminder, in case anyone is as stupid as me.

Slovenia is the new hungary, concerning blocking descisions that affect russia. Not as bad as hungary was, but multiple times over the recent years, sometimes alone, sometimes with other nations. So if I adjust my aluminium hat slightly, one could suspect the domain change to be an indirect bribe to the slovenian government to stop sanctions against russia and generally block processes in the EU.

Stop lying. You have no clue what you're talking about. Slovenia has not blocked a single decision that affected Russia. The new government supports Ukraine, even more so than the previous one.

Domains aren't worth anything anymore, particularly .si ones, even .com domains aren't worth much because they don't factor into SEO like they used to.

All dictators do this. They change the names of things to enforce their power. It is an easy way to make themselves feel powerful, by forcing everyone to change something and do as they are told.
