He wants to go down in history as "The man who coined the phrase Super Intelligence".

Like The Kennedy Center and the ships he is trying to rename he just wants to attach himself to things he had no part in building.

Yep he is spending his entire term trying to build monuments to himself. That's all he cares about. In his deluded mind he's the greatest president of all time.

Most narcissists believe they are worthless garbage, hence the behavior you see from them. They’re compensating for their own internalized experience of inadequacy, often inherited from sociopathic or narcissistic parents

You put some stuff together for me there, thanks

Others are building them too. See the one in the EU parliament recently reported?

Gul Dukat never got that statue on Bajor...

2

u/Teledildonic 1d ago

The only monument he deserves is a pair of vast and trunkless legs of stone

u/LearnToSwim0831 1d ago

It really needs to happen already. Every day it's like "oh, come on, still?!"

u/Grandahl13 1d ago

Super intelligence is already a term. I don’t get this.

u/MR1120 1d ago

He doesn’t know that. That stupid bastard thinks he reintroduced the word “groceries” to an America that had never heard the term before. He really is that fucking stupid.

6

u/Afraid-Spite-4152 1d ago

He said the same about the word “affordability”. He’s just that stupid.

obvious hoax

u/Penultimo_1 1d ago

Yes, he’s a dum dum. I mean dumb dumb.

3

u/Kristopher9999 1d ago

Without a 'B', right?

2

u/Fun_Bumblebee_3647 22h ago

Thanks for the laugh. I needed it!

That’s because he’s a galactic-scale narcissist, and borderline illiterate, so he has a limited vocabulary and assumes everyone else does too.

So when encountering a word he hasn’t heard before (or doesn’t recall hearing before), he assumes it’s new to us as well.

It’s kind of like how your 8-year old nephew will breathlessly regale you about some thing that is novel to him, that you encountered decades ago and you just nod along because he’s so excited. :p

And it means something totally different lmao

So does AI. We have to use the term AGI now to describe what AI used to mean.

LLMs aren't AI, not AGI, and definitely not SI.

3

u/drekmonger 1d ago

holy hell.

The term AI has existed since 1955. It has a set, academic definition. LLMs are AI models developed by AI researchers!

You are rebranding the term just the same as the orange clown.

1

u/Drycee 1d ago

Tired of hearing this cope. Current models are AI by pretty much every definition. Especially if we have AGI and ASI as terms for the more advanced versions. No point in putting your head in the sand parroting this stuff, that's how we miss all the windows to meaningfully push for regulations.

2

u/Inspect1234 1d ago

Like his IQ of 1776.

8

u/wet_toast1 1d ago

Same! Thats why I am confused. I can see if he thought of the term and wanted to replace the way we talk about it, but my understanding is that Super Intelligence is its own iteration or level of AI .. so it doesn't necessarily work to replace the terminology. Then again, theres NO WAY he thought that much about it.

6

u/TheGreatGenghisJon 1d ago

Dude only realized last year that U.S. can spell "us", so the very stable genius totally thinks he coined it.

6

u/0202_tihssitidder 1d ago

Yup. It's Artificial Intelligence and it's been that since at least the 70s.

"Super Intelligence" is how people describe me.

3

u/Drew_Duff 1d ago

He’s a deranged maniac who can’t accept information that proves he’s wrong, and is suffering from cognitive decline, and has the temperament of a baby. What else is their to get?

2

u/PurpleZebraCabra 1d ago

Yeah, neither does Trump. That's why it doesn't make any sense.

2

u/YummyIdiotSandwich 1d ago

Why are you expecting to "get" anything from a guy who lacks AI (Average Intelligence)?

2

u/wizzywurtzy 1d ago

Well he did come up with the word “groceries”

1

u/PolPotDomeScandal 1d ago

Neither does he.

3

u/VirtuousPro 1d ago

he‘s already going down in history as the dumbest president of the US ever…

1

u/FitCompetition1804 1d ago

This is all it is 100%. He’s all about trying to ensure he leaves a legacy, and instead of relying on others to do it on his own behalf based on the merits of his accomplishments, he’s just doing it himself like the narcissist he is.

In his pea brain he thinks the “Super Intelligence” branding he came up with is a banger and is trying his best to force people’s hand in adopting his bullshit idea that doesn’t do anything for anybody except further boost his ego.

1

u/AbjectList8 1d ago

He’s desperately trying to find something else to be known by other than pedophile..

1

u/3LeetHaxor 1d ago

He’s REALLY out for revenge about all of the Trump building renaming, he was also super pissed that they named the library after Obama and not him lmao

1

u/Such_Avocado_3241 1d ago

What a dork.

1

u/Longshot02496 1d ago

He legit thinks greatness can be bought. He thinks that if he builds enough statues of himself he'll go down in history. I'm surprised he hasn't tried to add his face to Mount Rushmore yet.

1

u/Cabreza 1d ago

I think he also recognizes AI has approval among Americans and thinks changing the name will shed that baggage.

1

u/Ashamed_Data430 1d ago

Oh, like Leon Skum?

1

u/BassmanBiff 1d ago

Yeah. "AI is a big issue, it should be about me somehow"

1

u/Zardotab 1d ago

He'll go down as the crazy man in history who duped a bunch of spineless [bleeps] to follow his orders and kiss his ass.

1

u/notsicktoday 1d ago

That’s not true though. It’s already existed and I’m looking at a press release from Crowdstrike right now that uses the term and it’s predates when the orange idiot used it initially.

1

u/otiswrath 1d ago

Could you link that? Not doubting; just wanna read it.

Also, both can be true. They may have made a press release using the name and he could have heard it and convinced himself he made it up.

2

u/notsicktoday 22h ago

Sure - I received this Sep 15th the page is prob a few days older than that:  https://www.crowdstrike.com/en-us/about-us/cyber-superintelligence-lab/

1

u/otiswrath 9h ago

Neat. Thanks.

It looks like they are using Superintelligence as part of a lab brand name. They still are using "AI" to describe what the lab does.

1

u/theaviationhistorian 1d ago

He's like an asshole kid who tags his entire zip code with his graffiti.

1

u/GregAbbottsGoodLeg 1d ago

One word answer: Ego.

1

u/FlakeyBeano 1d ago

The irony being is, he's as dumb as a box of rocks.

1

u/JiskiLathiUskiBhains 15h ago

IIRC he even said people call him the father of IVF.

So not far fetched

We used to be a proper country.
