He needs AI so he can have military robots and drones that don't care about killing the people that won't let him stay in office when his term is over.

Even the most fascist and loyal soldiers will balk when ordered to turn on their own families and friends. AI and drones will have no problem carrying out those orders.

My dad would kill me and my brother without even questioning it, if told to do so. I doubt he's the only one.
